Do you need to renew your registration or replace it? These are two different procedures. Renewal is required if your registration is going to expire soon. It’s easy, and we can issue your renewal during your visit.
Replacement is when your registration is lost, damaged or stolen. If this is the case, you’ll need to complete Form MV-44, Application for Duplicate Registration Card, Replacement of Registration Plate, or Weight Class Sticker. Don’t worry, we’ll help you through this process.
We Can Help You With:
- Registration Renewal. In PA, renewal notices are mailed out to you before your registration expires. Stopping by PA Notary & Tag is an easy way to renew.
- Registration Replacement. However your registration was lost or damaged, we can walk you through the replacement process with ease.
- Transit Tag. Transit or “in-transit” tags provide temporary vehicle registration. This allows you to drive your new vehicle immediately to leave PA and drive it to your home state. A Transit Tag temporary registration plate that is valid for 60 days.
- Change of Address. We can help you update your registration card with a new address during your visit.
We can also help with lost and stolen license places and with replacing your old PA license places with custom specialty plates. Pennsylvania offers a range of specialty plates designed to honor the state, as well as vanity plates with personalized letters and numbers.
